What goes around.....

Next week I'm in San Diego most of the week for a conference. I'm undecided whether I want to travel light and skip my runs and workouts. Its been over a year since I've taken a break without being sick or injured. Right now I feel like I'm on a roll so will probably end up packing my gear. Or maybe not....

You know you've been blogging a while when the tagging games start coming around again. I already provided some weird things about me last February. But here are a few more weird or random things you might not know about me:

• Marc and I dated for 2 weeks before eloping, without our family's knowledge. We'll be married 21 years in February.

• My name was supposed to be Ruth Ann, but my parents change their minds at the last minute.

• I've never owned a new car, nor one newer than five years old.

• A few years ago I entered and won an essay contest with the theme: "How I Overcame Bladder Weakness to Live Life to It's Fullest". The prize was a trip to New York City.

• I did not, nor do I now, suffer from bladder weakness, incontinence, whatever you want to call it.....

Have fun in San Diego.

I love your eloping "fact". It's so cool to know that it can work out.

The essay contest win is both funny and disturbing. 8-)

Yes, this one is oddly similar to the 5 weird things. Make them stop!

Pack the gear...you never know. I regularly find a run during a conference to be very refreshing and helpful to both mind and body.

Congrats on loving the old cars!!!

Okay, so next time you don't know what to post, post the prize winning essay!

That's funny about you and Marc - you two seem just right for each other.
