Mud, mud, mud!

This morning Sharon and I headed to Forest Park for a trail run on Wildwood. We were thinking of 10 or 12 but ended up running 13+ miles. We followed an out and back route which was mainly uphill going out and downhill coming back. And as the title of this post suggests, there was a lot of mud.

Wet, squishy, puddly, mud.

And it was a ton of fun.

By the end we were caked in mud halfway up our calves.

And we laughed and laughed when we both peeled off our socks to discover mud between our toes!

It was an awesome muddy morning!

Sounds like fun. Almost as much fun as we had today.

So basically you're saying that your new red and silver shoes are now brown. Sweet, is there a better color for shoes:)

Kyly and I were there also. Probably later in the day though. Yes, we had fun also. And isn't this why we do this?
