Autumn days

If I had written about running any other day this week, this would have been an appropriate image.

But since I'm writing about running today, this image is more fitting.

Then again, an appropriate image for my planned run tomorrow would likely look more like this one.

It's autumn in the northwest and you never can be sure what kind of weather you're going to get. Fortunately, my main running partner, Sharon is hardcore so there are no excuses. As she says, the need for fitness doesn't end when the weather is bad.

Depending on what we run tomorrow, my mileage this week looks like it's going to be between 25-30 miles, which I'm happy about. The plan is to get back up to an average of 35-40 by the new year.

Enjoy the weather, whatever it may be!

I'm really, really hoping for the middle image for the marathon tomorrow, but all forcasts predict the last image. I'm prepared though, so we'll just go out and do it. Have fun tomorrow!

I would love snow during the marathon I just don't want to drive in it. We'll see how it all pans out tomorrow. Have a good run as well.

Love the post, especially the images. Thought about you guys today on my race. A great ultra guy from the Pacific Northwest, John Pearch, was out doing his usual volunteer work at Quad Dipsea...made me think about ya'll up there.

Wonderful photos!

Here it is -24 Celcius (which I just converted for you... It is -11.2 Farenheit).

Don't think there are photos to do that justice myself... And it's not even winter yet!
